Fly Gangwon has selected AFI KLM E&M for its CFM56-7b engines support powering the 737-800 fleet. According to the agreement, the MRO solutions provided by AFI KLM E&M will cover a wide range of tailor-made services right from carrying out shop visits to the delivery of On-Wing/On-Site operations, as well as availability-oriented services such as the provision of temporary replacement engines.

The agreement underlines the full-support model in which Fly Gangwon will benefit from an exhaustive service package to guarantee maximum availability for its aircraft engines. For both scheduled operations and AOG situations, Fly Gangwon will be able to rely upon AFI KLM E&M’s dedicated support and know-how, covering its engine support needs in order to sustain operational continuity.
Fly Gangwon is a young South Korean airline with a total fleet of 3 Boeing 737-800s.
