AFI KLM E&M and Jet2.com have signed an engine maintenance contract for the UK carrier's Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft. The agreement covers engine repairs, on-site and on-wing assistance, as well as an engine leasing option.
Jet2.com Executive Chairman Philip Meeson said: "AFI KLM E&M convinced us of its technical expertise on the 737-800 NG and its ability to help us deliver the essential reliability our customers expect of us."
Fabrice Defrance, Senior Vice President Commercial AFI KLM E&M, added: "We are delighted and honoured to have won the trust of this dynamic young airline and look forward to supporting it effectively and to maintaining our on-going relationship.
