AFI KLM E&M subsidiary Barfield announces repair deal with AerCap Materials

Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) subsidiary Barfield has signed a repair agreement with AerCap Materials.

The three-year deal "covers a large scope of part numbers to help support AerCap Materials’ customer base and ensure a better-quality repair service", AFI KLM E&M announced.

“We are honoured by AerCap Materials’ renewed trust in Barfield with this contract. We are dedicated to allocating a team of talented engineers, technicians, and customer support managers to oversee these repair services to ensure satisfactory TAT and overall support,” said Herve Page, Barfield's chief executive.

“Given the ongoing global supply chain difficulties, this partnership allows us to offer our customers greater predictability in repair shop turnaround times which is a significant advantage, particularly in the current environment," said Aimee Craig, chief executive of AerCap Materials, which has been part of lessor AerCap since 2021.
