Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) has signed a long-term agreement with SunExpress for the maintenance of CFM56-7B engines.
Under the agreement, AFI KLM E&M will provide comprehensive shop visit support services for the CFM56-7B engines that power SunExpress’ fleet of next-generation Boeing 737 aircraft.
The contract, which will run from 2025 through 2031, expands on an earlier contract between the two partners signed in November 2018.
SunExpress, a joint venture of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, will operate a fleet of 85 Boeing 737 aircraft this summer.
The Antalya-based airline projects that its fleet will grow to 166 aircraft by 2035.
