AFI KLM E&M appoints Johann Panier as Chief Executive Officer of Aero Maintenance Group

Aero Maintenance Group (AMG) and Barfield, the two wholly owned US subsidiaries of Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance, are accelerating their synergies with the appointment of Johann Panier as the CEO of both entities starting July 1, 2015.

After a year at the helm of Barfield, Panier has now been appointed CEO of Aero Maintenance Group in order to lead the merger of the two subsidiaries in the Americas, allowing AFI KLM E&M to have a stronger and long-lasting footprint in the Americas. Panier succeeds Christian Tallec who has led AMG for the last five years.

“I am honored to have this opportunity of leading the AMG organization. Together with the AMG and Barfield teams, we will aim to build a stronger component MRO provider that will deliver quality and innovative services to our customers in the North and South American markets while developing more synergies between entities within the Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance network. I am confident about our future achievements as one combined organization, thanks to the support and dedication of AMG and Barfield employees who will contribute to our sustainable growth and commercial successes,” said Johann Panier.
