Grupo Aeromexico transported 1 million 950 thousand passengers in June, a 38.6% year-on-year increase. International passengers carried increased by 66.1%, while domestic passengers increased by 29.1%.
Aeromexico's total capacity, measured in available seat kilometers (ASKs), increased by 55.2% year-on-year. International ASKs increased by 72.0% compared to June 2021. Domestic capacity increased by 32.7% year-on-year.
Demand, measured in passenger-kilometers (RPKs), increased by 70.3% year-on-year. International demand increased by 104.0% compared to June 2021. Domestic demand increased 31.3% versus 2021.
Aeromexico's June load factor was 84.8%, a 6.7 p.p. increase compared to June 2021. International load factor increased by 12.1 p.p. and Domestic load factor decreased by 0.9 p.p.
In June 2022 Aeromexico announced that starting September 2022, it will resume operations to Morelia, Michoacan, offering 2 daily frequencies.
