Grupo Aeromexico has reported its June 2024 operational results, revealing that the airline transported 2.1 million passengers in June 2024, a 1.7% year on year (YoY) increase.
International passengers increased by 19.5% to 691,000, while domestic passengers decreased by 5.2% to 1.4 million.
Aeromexico's total capacity, measured in available seat kilometres (ASKs), increased by 8.0% YoY to 4.7 million. International ASKs increased by 14.2% 3.2 million, while domestic capacity decreased by 2.7% YoY down to 1.5 million.
Demand, measured in passenger-kilometres (RPKs), increased by 9.6% YoY to 4.1 million. International demand increased by 16.4% 2.8 million, while domestic demand decreased by 2.8%, down to 1.3 million, both figures compared to June 2023.
Aeromexico's June 2024 load factor was 86.7%, a 1.2 p.p. increase as compared to June 2023. International load factor increased by 1.6 p.p. to 88.8%, while domestic load factor decreased by 0.1 p.p. to 82.4%.
