Aergo Capital delivers Boeing B737-900ER to Thai Lion

Aergo Capital has taken delivery of one new B737-900ER aircraft (MSN: 38312) from Boeing and leased the aircraft on a long-term lease to Thai Lion, part of the Lion Air Group. The acquisition was facilitated by Transportation Partners. The aircraft will be operated by Thai Lion Air on domestic and regional routes. This acquisition brings Aergo’s fleet to 27 aircraft (including owned aircraft and aircraft under management).

Aergo Capital’s CEO Fred Browne, said: “We are delighted to close another transaction with the Lion Air Group and we are looking forward to working with Thai Lion as it expands its international operations.”

John Duffy, Chief Operating Officer of Transportation Partners, remarked: “On behalf of Transportation Partners, I would like to say that I’m delighted to work with Aergo in finding another investor for the 737-900ER.”

“The 737-900ER aircraft continues to form an integral part of Thai Lion’s fleet as we expand our network into the region, especially China.  We are appreciative of Aergo’s support to Thai Lion with the lease of this aircraft,” said Captain Darsito, Managing Director of Thai Lion Air.
