Aergo Capital completes sale of Airbus A330-300 to EMP Aviation

Aergo Capital has completed the sale of one Airbus A330-300 aircraft bearing manufacturers serial number 1779 to EMP Aviation.

The aircraft remains subject to a long-term operating lease with South African Airways.

On the deal, Smith, Gambrell and Russell acted as lead counsel for Aergo.

A&L Goodbody acted as Irish Counsel for Aergo.

Webber Wentzel was the South African transaction counsel for both Aergo and EMP.

KPMG Ireland was appointed as tax advisor to both Aergo and EMP.

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer acted as lead counsel for EMP.

Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr was named the transaction counsel for South African Airways.

Matheson acted as Irish Counsel for PK AirFinance SARL; and McCann Fitzgerald was Irish Counsel for EMPClifford, while Clifford Chance acted lead counsel for PK AirFinance SARL.
