Aergo Capital has appointed Aengus Whelan as its chief trading officer, effective November 4, 2024. He will succeed Nathan Riggs, who recently resigned from the company.
“We are confident that [Aengus'] extensive experience and leadership will significantly contribute to the continued success of Aergo Capital,” said Aergo Capital CEO Fred Browne.
Whelan most recently served as managing director and chief trading officer at ALAFCO. He also served in senior leadership positions at Seraph Aviation Group and Standard Chartered. He also spent over 11 years at Pratt & Whitney.
