Aergo Capital and Acumen Aviation have formed a strategic alliance for enhanced aviation asset management services for both companies' investor bases. The partnership is the first such dedicated offering between a technical services asset manager and an aircraft lessor asset manager.
The partnership is noteworthy as supply chain, MRO capacity, and general capacity constraint issues persist throughout the industry. The partnership will capitalise on the extensive knowledge and experience of both companies to provide a comprehensive approach to aviation investments. The collaboration aims to address the dynamic challenges posed by the aviation industry by optimising returns, enhance portfolio composition, fortify corporate governance, and refine reporting mechanisms.
Aergo CEO Fred Browne said: "with the rapid growth of our asset manager business, this is a very important milestone for Aergo, we aim to be 'best in class' with the widest service offering."
Aergo has expanded its managed portfolio to over 160 aircraft since 2021 while Acumen has overseen 24 assets in lease administration, in addition to managing over 1,850 assets through its software services.
