Aergo Capital (Aergo) has acquired two Boeing 737-800 aircraft – MSNs 37242 and 37264 – on lease to TUI, from Pulsar Aero Global.
“We are delighted to announce the acquisition of two Boeing 737-800 aircraft from Pulsar, with TUI leases attached,” said Fred Browne, chief executive officer at Aergo Capital. “We look forward to working with them again on many more collaborations in the future. We would also like to thank both parties for their flexibility and collaboration throughout this transaction process.”
Per Sylvan, head of aircraft leasing, at TUI Airline, welcomed Aergo as a new lessor. “This was a well-managed and smooth double novation. Pleased to see Aergo and Pulsar showcasing a pragmatic approach throughout, which is critical for airlines, especially amid the current surge in trading activity across the lessor community.”
PK AirFinance acted as the sole lender on the transaction. Smith Gambrell Russell acted as lead counsel to Aergo.
