AerFin sells MSN 0093 to Peoples Viennaline

AerFin has sold one Embraer 170 aircraft MSN 0093 to Austrian operator People’s Viennaline. MSN 0093 enters People’s Viennaline regional operation as the second aircraft supporting the operator’s links between Altenrhein and Vienna providing 23 weekly flights. Latest route extensions include Altenrhein – Friedrichshafen and Cologne Bonn, which commenced on November 2.

The airline will operate the airport trio link twice-daily on weekdays and the short hop between Altenrhein and Friedrichshafen, a 19-kilometre 8 minute sector, makes it one of the shortest commercial international flights in the world. The connection between Friedrichshafen and Cologne Bonn is slightly longer, being a 393-kilometre pairing.

AerFin continues its focus on the regional jet market and said “we are delighted to be able to support People’s Viennaline with a high standard quality aircraft where reliability for such operation is of paramount importance”.

Daniel Steffen CEO and Accountable Manager of People’s Viennaline said: “We are very delighted to have AerFin as competent and reliable partner to develop our fleet of Embraer 170”. The aircraft placement was facilitated by remarketing specialists Cabot Aviation and was delivered Thursday 10.
