AerData, the provider of lease management, records management and engine fleet planning software, have announced the integration between two AerData software products; a seamless, two-way ’Connector’ between GEARS and STREAM.
GEARS (Global Electronic Asset Review System), is a digital tool designed to standardize data collection for routine audits and inspections.
STREAM (Secure Technical Records for Electronic Asset Management) is the web-based solution used by airlines, lessors and MROs to manage aircraft and engine records.
Commenting on the announcement, Justin de Looper, Manager Technical Services & GEARS Support Team, said, “Following customer feedback and a rigorous testing period, we are excited to bring to market the STREAM to GEARS connector. This will enable customers to realize the benefits of automated audit and inspection data transfer from GEARS to STREAM, contributing to a centralised archive in STREAM. In addition, it will allow convenient document linking from STREAM to GEARS so that inspectors can simply populate their audit reports with data that has already been collected and still valid. For customers using GEARS, this will improve the quality of data entry in their technical audits, reduce the time required for on-site presence and reduce the overall costs and risks normally associated with manual data entry.”
