During the third quarter 2015, AerCap Holdings signed lease agreements for 46 aircraft, including 12 widebody and 34 narrowbody aircraft; purchased seven aircraft, including one Boeing 787-8, one Boeing 787-9, and five Boeing 737-800s.

AerCap executed sale and part-out transactions for 17 aircraft, including two Airbus A320-200s, four Airbus A330-200s, one Airbus A340-300, two Boeing 757-200s, two Boeing B777-200ERs and two Boeing B777-300ERs from AerCap's owned portfolio, and one Airbus A321-200, one Boeing 737 classic, one Boeing B757-200 and one MD-83 from AerCap's managed portfolio. The lessor continues to manage 10 aircraft that were sold from its owned portfolio during the quarter.

AerCap has leased, purchased and sold 306 aircraft during the nine months ended September 30, 2015. It signed lease agreements for 216 aircraft, including 54 widebody and 162 narrowbody aircraft. AerCap purchased 35 aircraft, including four Airbus A321s, one Airbus A330, one Airbus A350, five Boeing 787-8s, six Boeing 787-9s, and 18 Boeing 737-800s. The lessor also executed sale transactions for 55 aircraft.

"As we continue to meet the needs of our global customer base, we lease or sell an aircraft every 24 hours, consisting of two widebody and five narrowbody aircraft transactions per week."

As of September 30, 2015, AerCap's portfolio consisted of approximately 1,730 aircraft that were either owned, managed, or under contract to purchase.
