AerCap announced on April 6 that it had leased, bought and sold 252 assets during the first quarter of 2023 (Q1 2023) while signing financing transactions for approximately $6.7bn.
Among the deals were 155 lease agreements, including for 18 widebody aircraft, 58 narrowbody aircraft, 55 engines and 24 helicopters.
The Dublin-based lessor said it completed 56 purchases, including for 15 aircraft, including 11 Airbus A320neos and one each of the Airbus A220, Boeing 737 MAX, Boeing 787-9 and Embraer E195-E2 airplanes.
For sales, AerCap listed 32 aircraft, including 11 Airbus and 17 Boeings, with four sold from the company's managed aircraft portfolio.
The company acquired 38 engines and three helicopters while selling three engines and six helicopters in the three months to the end of March 2023.
