AerCap reports Q1 aircraft movements

During the first quarter of 2016, AerCap leased, purchased and sold 131 aircraft. The lessor signed lease agreements for 100 aircraft, including 23 widebody and 77 narrowbody aircraft; purchased six aircraft, including five 787-9s and one 737-800. AerCap also executed sale and part-out transactions for 25 aircraft, including three A320-200s, one A321-100, three 737NGs, one 737 classic, two 747-400s, two 757-200s, three 777-200ERs and four CRJ-900s from AerCap’s owned portfolio, and one A330-300, one A340-300, two 737 classics, one 757-200 and one 777-200ER from AerCap’s managed portfolio.

AerCap signed financing transactions for $100 million in the first quarter 2016 and closed a $700 million credit facility in April 2016.

As of March 31, 2016, AerCap's portfolio consisted of approximately 1,670 aircraft that were either owned, managed, or under contract to purchase.
