Aeolus demands return of two engines after Express Air Cargo defaults on leases

Dublin-based engine lessor Aeolus Engine Services and its US partners have demanded Express Air Cargo to return two CFM56-3 engines after defaulting on the leases.

The notice was issued to the Tunisia-based company's president Anis Riahi.

Aeolus said this was sent as a result of a “failure of a sixth debt resolution agreement”.

The engines are currently located at Atitech, Italy.

Airline Economics has contacted Express Air Cargo for comment.
