Aircraft Engine Lease Finance (AELF) has completed the financing of a 737-800 with South Africa's Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking (Nedbank CIB).
The transaction marks the second of its kind that the company has completed in recent weeks, supporting its ongoing 737-800 acquisition campaign, as well as its first financing with the bank.
“As we continue to broaden our lending relationships, AELF is well positioned to take advantage of market opportunities and support on-going fleet expansion efforts," said AELF chief commercial officer Joe Cirillo.
AELF is active in the South African region with several recent transactions, including two 737s delivered to FlySafair and financing completed with Investec.
