Aircraft Engine Lease Finance (AELF) has acquired a 737-8AL, serial number 37960, from Saroja Aviation.
The US-based lessor, which now operates from offices in Chicago and Miami, has been ‘actively investing in the narrowbody market in recent markets’. This includes acquiring 737-800s to place on long-term operating lease, which head of global marketing Joe Cirillo describes as AELF’s “current focus”.
“We are thrilled to welcome this aircraft into our portfolio,” commented Cirillo, adding: “Expanding our presence in the narrowbody market diversifies our fleet and enables us to take advantage of current market opportunities”.
