Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) has selected Canadian-based KF Aerospace as an Authorized Conversion Center. The current success of AEI’s passenger-to-freighter conversion products, which include the B737-400SF, MD80SF, CRJ 200 SF and soon the B737-800SF, require that additional conversion capacity be added to handle the market demand.
AEI currently has three active Authorized Conversion Centers worldwide, which include Commercial Jet Inc., in Miami, Florida, Commercial Jet Services in Dothan, Alabama and Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services Co., Ltd., in Shanghai, PRC. In all, offering a total of 11 to 13 conversion lines for AEI at any one time.
As one of Canada’s top aviation services providers, KF Aerospace was chosen by AEI as the fourth Authorized Conversion Center because of the company’s consistent reputation for delivering high quality aircraft maintenance and modification services, and for the breadth of additional services that may be offered to AEI customers. Initially, KF Aerospace will set up one line of passenger-to-freighter conversions for AEI beginning in April of this year with the commencement of a B737-400 freighter conversion.
