Aegean and Cyprus Airways sign ACMI deal

Aegean Airlines and Cyprus Airways have signed a long term ACMI deal. Cyprus Airways will lease two A320 aircraft including cabin and crews to Aegean Airlines. The agreement was facilitated by ACMI specialist Zela Aviation.

The first aircraft will join Aegean's fleet in December 2023 and the second lease will commence at the end of March 2024.

“We are very happy and proud to take the next step in our strategic cooperation with Aegean," said Cyprus Airways CEO Paul Sies. "We already have an extensive codeshare agreement in place where we work closely to offer and optimise our joint products and services. We are now taking our cooperation to the next level and working closely with Aegean, also on an operational level.”
