Aegean Airlines has introduced its latest ATR to operational service, following the new aircraft’s delivery to Athens from the manufacturer’s factory in Toulouse last week.
The aircraft (registered as SX-OBS) is the 16th turboprop to join Aegean’s fleet as part of a replacement and upgrade programme initiated in 2018. This model is described by the airline as having ‘all the latest improvements of the type, offering a further 3%-5% fuel savings,’ thereby fulfilling Aegean’s commitment to operate more sustainably.
