Adria Airways plans fleet renewal programme

Adria Airways is planning to phase out its two A319s and one A320 due to overcapacity. The airline currently operates one A320, two A319s, four CRJ900s and six CRJ200s.
Although CEO Klemen Bostjancic has indicated that the airline CRJ200s are not profitable to operate even with a 100% load factor, this aircraft type could be used to unify the fleet. However he admits a longer-term regional solution is necessary for all the carriers operating in the countries of the former Yugoslavia to survive. He has refused to confirm that the airline is considering a merger at this time.
