Slovenia-based Adria Airways and Croatia flag carrier Croatia Airlines have decided to freeze plans for privatization.
Adria Airways will delay its privatization process until after the country’s elections on July 13th. The project is expected to resume when a new government is elected and installed.
Croatia Airlines has put its privatization plans on hold while it identifies potential investors before resuming its privatization process. The airline has stated it has found the process difficult. The Croatian government previously expressed reservations about the sell-off under what it described as “difficult market conditions”.
