ADE completes AJY Empennage Project
Asia Digital Engineering (ADE) has completed its recent AJY Empennage Project in which its team removed and replaced the tailcone of an A320, something the company describes as a ‘significant milestone in [its] journey of providing specialised maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services’. It was the first time ADE has performed such a procedure. The project stemmed from a critical inspection requirement for an AirAsia A320 tailcone and required the loan of specialist equipment and tools from Airbus. Ten dedicated personnel worked for a total of 720 hours in a project that took 72 hours to complete. ‘Notably, this procedure had been previously exclusive to aircraft manufacturers, making our successful execution all the more remarkable,’ concluded ADE.
