The grounding of its two 787 aircraft is costing LOT Polish Airlines $50,000 a day without taking into account the cost of passenger complaints and some other costs, says the Polish government. Total losses from the 787 problems have been estimated by the Deputy Treasury Minister Rafal Baniak at 8 million zlotys ($2.5 million).
