70 new routes for China Southern

China Southern Airlines plans to open 70 new routes for the summer season that will consist of 50 domestic services and 20 international and regional services.

China Southern plans to expand several new international routes to Southeast Asia and Africa. The airline will fly non-stop from Guangzhou to Nairobi from August, three flights a week, while it will also connect Guangzhou with Nha Trang in Vietnam, Sabah in Malaysia, Vientiane in Laos, and Ko Samui and Krabi in Thailand. China Southern also plans routes to link Shenzhen with Bangkok and Krabi.

The Guangzhou-based carrier will further enhance its connectivity to Australia, Europe and the US. It plans a new service to San Francisco, and added frequencies to its Guangzhou-New York route – boosting flights to 10 a week.

China Southern will fly its 787 on Guangzhou-Perth route from July 15.
