The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has formally issued an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) to 3 Horizons Limited, authorising its entry into the aviation sector as a charter operator.

During the presentation ceremony held on September 17, 2025, at the NCAA’s Corporate Headquarters in Abuja, the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Capt. Chris Najomo, congratulated the airline, urging them to uphold the highest operational and safety standards.

According to the DGCA, the issuance of the AOC to 3 Horizons is a clear demonstration that Nigeria’s aviation sector remains open, dynamic, and driven by safety.

The DGCA further reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to active surveillance, noting that the NCAA will continuously monitor all certified operators to ensure unwavering adherence to safety protocols, safeguard passenger welfare, and preserve the industry’s overall credibility.

Responding, the company's Director of Operations and Chief Pilot, Capt. Sanni Mohammed Shehu, thanked the DGCA and the certification team for their support, committing the airline to uphold terms and conditions of the AOC.
