The departing CEO of Boeing, David Calhoun, has said that he will be “the most supportive player on the field” when it comes to his replacement. Calhoun, who is stepping down at the end of the year as part of multiple management changes caused by the ongoing issues regarding the safety of Boeing aircraft, was named CEO in 2020, having joined the board in 2009.
