Aircraft solutions provider 3TOP Aviation Services has acquired two Airbus A318-111 aircraft. The two aircraft were both previously operated by the Romanian flag carrier TAROM. “This is a platform we particularly like. We have made a number of Airbus narrowbody acquisitions this year and we’ll continue to enhance our product offering in this space to support our global network of customers” said Chris Emechete, CEO of 3TOP. The two airframes will be harvested for material and added to 3TOP’s inventory following dismantling by ecube, with the engines being added to 3TOP’s expanding trading and leasing pool.
