BOC Aviation entered into a lease transaction with United Airlines for three 737-9 and one 787-9 aircraft on October 7, 2024. “We are delighted to be supporting our long-time customer, United, once again, as it continues its fleet renewal programme,” said BOC Aviation CEO and managing director Steven Townend. “The financing of these four latest generation Boeing aircraft provides us with an incremental investment opportunity as we continue to grow our business.” The 737-9s are all powered by the CFM LEAP-1B engines and the 787-9 is powered by the GEnx engines. All aircraft are currently in operation by United.
