Dublin-based aircraft lessor Avolon is suing Vietnamese company Vietjet, alongside six of its subsidiaries. According to the Irish Independent, the dispute is linked to “jet leases between the pair”. Vietjet operates a fleet of more than 100 Airbus A320 and A321 jets and leases a number of widebody A330 aircraft, as well as the company also recently placing a provisional order for 20 Airbus A330neo widebody jets.  It operates more than 400 flights a day to destinations across Vietnam as well as to countries including Japan, Australia, Singapore, South Korea and China.
