The Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking and the Free & Hanseatic City of Hamburg have signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) to “accelerate the demonstration of low-emission aircraft technologies and concepts for entry into service by 2035”. Both parties agreed on a joint strategic roadmap for net zero aviation, aligning itself to the European green deal objectives approved in 2020. They will identify the Research and Innovation areas on which Hamburg will concentrate its efforts.
