China Airlines in Taiwan has sold its 747-400 freighter aircraft to South Korea’s Asiana Airlines. The aircraft was remarketed by AMS Aircraft Services, the UK-based aircraft marketing and technical services subsidiary of EastMerchant, had remarketed the aircraft on behalf of the airline. The aircraft was sold after an “exhaustive” request for proposal process by AMS. It is the second time this year that AMS has remarketed this aircraft type for China Airlines in Taiwan. The aircraft, with a serial number of MSN 30768, is powered by the CF6 engine.
