Qantas is to expand its international network with new aircraft and a new destination, in response to growing demand in the Asia-Pacific and US markets. From February of 2025 the Australian flag carrier is expected to add 220,00 seats to its international network over a 12 month period, in comparison to its current schedule. The airline is to return two A380 aircraft back to its fleet following maintenance and cabin modifications as well as adding more A220 aircraft to the QantasLink fleet.
