Norwegian group flies 2.5 million passengers in May

Norwegian Group carried almost 2.5 million passengers during the month of May 2024. Norwegian carried 2,138,484 passengers, a 12% increase from last year, while Widerøe served 333,492 passengers, totalling 2,472,976 for the group. Norwegian capacity was 3,466 million available seat kilometres (ASK), up 19% from the same period last year. Actual passenger traffic measured in revenue per kilometres (RPKs) was 2,843 seat kilometres, an increase of 16% from May 2023. Throughout May, punctuality was up 1.2% from last year, to 86.1%.
