Emirates is said to have increased its 777F order

Emirates plans to expand its fleet of 777F freighter planes – in preparation for an expected jump in cargo traffic – Reuters reported on October 16, 2024. These additional aircraft add to Emirates’ firm order for an additional five Boeing 777F freighters in July of this year, with immediate delivery between 2025 and 2026. The order of the additional aircraft comes after Emirates criticised Boeing over separate delays in plane deliveries. However, the order was placed before Boeing’s announcement on Friday that its future 777X jetliner series would be pushed back another year to 2026. Boeing in September disclosed orders
