AirAsia Aviation Group – a wholly owned subsidiary of Capital A – is revisiting the potential of a standalone operation in Vietnam. Its CEO Bo Lingam told Bloomberg that the the company is mulling over the new venture, but that it had no interest in setting up an airline outside of the Southeast Asia region. It had been previously reported that the company was looking at setting up an airline in Vietnam as well as Singapore.
