Air Astana is to resume non-stop flights between Almaty and London using its A321LR aircraft, making the 9hr and 35m flight one of the longest narrow-body flights in the world. The airline – in partnership with Airbus – is enhancing the efficiency of its long-haul operations by installing additional fuel tanks on its A321LR aircraft. This will therefore allow the airline to offer non-stop flights over long-haul distances without the need for a technical stopover.
