12 injured after turbulence on Qatar 787 flight

12 people have been injured on a Qatar Airways flight (QR018) from Doha to Dublin on May 26, 2024. The flight, serviced by a 787-9 aircraft, landed in Dublin in the afternoon, with six crew and six passengers reporting injuries. The flight experienced turbulence while airborne over Turkey. Upon landing in Dublin, emergency services attended the scene to assess the injured. “Eight passengers were subsequently taken to hospital,” said Dublin Airport in a statement. A Qatar spokesperson said: The matter is now subject to an internal investigation. The safety and security of our passengers and crew are our top priority.”
